MIARA is a made-to-measure furniture workshop. The team is 18 strong, and the furniture is made in our own hall, not by subcontractors. The same group of people measures, draws, builds and fits.
From a small joinery shop to fitting furniture across Poland
- 2012
We start out as a small joinery shop, building our first kitchens and wardrobes for local clients.
- 2016
We buy a CNC machining centre and move production to a larger hall.
- 2019
We open our own spray shop. Lacquered fronts stop travelling out to a third-party workshop.
- 2021
We start regular work with architecture practices and introduce shop drawings for approval.
- Today
We’ve completed 400 projects, and we fit furniture right across Poland.
The hall where your furniture is made
Our workshop covers 1,200 m². Machinery: CNC machining centre, edge bander, spray shop.
We cut boards on the CNC centre from the design drawings, so the holes for hinges and runners land in the same place on every carcass. Edges are banded by machine, so there’s no gap at the join where moisture could get in.
We lacquer fronts in coats, sanding between each one. We check the colour on a sample before we paint the whole batch.
Before dispatch, we check every part’s dimensions against the drawing, and the front colour against the sample you approved. Modules with mechanisms, such as drawers and lift systems, are trial-assembled first. Every package is labelled with the room and the position it goes in.

Four principles we stick to

We tell you what we won’t do
If a design calls for something we can’t do well, we say so before the contract is signed. We’d rather lose the job than fit something we don’t want to stand behind.

Every important figure is in the contract
The price, the fitting date and the payment schedule are all written down before production starts. Changing any of them needs your agreement in writing.

The drawing comes before the material
Nothing goes to the machine without a drawing approved by the client or the architect. That way, we fix a mistake on the drawing, not on a board that’s already been cut.

We stay in touch after fitting
Hinges work loose over time, and a household’s needs change. If you call us years later, you reach the same workshop, with your design and hardware list still on file.
